I’m Abbi, a bendy mum to three sons and one little diva and a qualified YogaBirth UK antenatal yoga teacher. As well as running weekly pregnancy yoga classes in North London, I also teach private clients one to one.
Yoga is an important part of my life and I know first-hand as a mother as well as from my years of experience of supporting pregnant women, how valuable a gentle and restorative yoga practice can be to help women relax and re-energise during pregnancy and prepare for labour and birth. I try to make my classes as welcoming and nourishing as possible, creating an atmosphere and space in which my students can switch off from their busy lives and focus entirely on their yoga practice, their breathing techniques and their changing bodies during pregnancies.
When I’m not on my mat, I can usually be found teaching antenatal classes and meditation and perinatal yoga techniques to women in prison through my other job with Birth Companions. I live in Enfield with my husband, our fab 4 and our long-suffering dog Beano who would love to try doga if only he could find a quiet place to do so in our hectic household!
